What will you teach?
We will teach your child, not just teach a curriculum. We want kids to experience computers as creators rather than consumers. Scratch is flexible and fun. It teaches the components of coding so we use it to help us figure out what your child already knows and to build from there. More info about our curriculum here!
May my child attend multiple sessions of Creative Computing?
Yes! Although the sessions will cover the same principles, students attending multiple sessions will have time to take their projects further and learn more.
What does my child need to bring?
Students will need to bring a laptop in order to code. If this is not possible, please email email@example.com. We will be able to provide a limited number of computers per session on a first come first serve basis.
Will food be served?
We will provide water bottles, pencils, and fresh fruit daily.
Does my child need to have prior coding experience?
We will take your child wherever she or he is. If your child already knows a lot, we will give them new projects to fill in gaps and challenge them to use what they know. If they don't have experience yet, we will start at square one.
What does the materials fee include?
What is your target age?
Code Irvine is recommended for grades three and up. Contact us to discuss your child's individual situation.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept check, cash, or PayPal. We will send you payment details after you register. Payment must be received by deadlines to receive discounts and early bird pricing.
